John (“Mule”), arrested on August 31, is still in jail. I have not been allowed to talk to him. But I was able to visit The Mules (Lady, Pepper, and Little Girl) at the Santa Clara County Animal Shelter in San Martin. The shelter’s director at the time, Brigid Wasson, showed me around.
