Day 122 – “Grub”

I always offered to pick up provisions for John (“Mule”), and he often made shopping lists for me, insisting on reimbursing me for everything I bought. On this day he was preparing to head back into the Los Padres National Forest for three weeks of R&R before returning to the megalopolis of the Los Angeles Basin.
