Grant Awarded

I’m very pleased to announce that MULE: Living on the Outside has finally received its first grant. from the Pacific Pioneer Fund, after many, many submissions to dozens of foundations and non-profit funders. It’s not a large amount, but it does give some validation as I continue to submit grant proposals to the short list of organizations who fund documentaries. There is still a long way to go before MULE can be completed, and this is where you come in. If you believe in the project and like what you see so far, I encourage you to help by making a tax-deductible donation and sharing the message of this important story.

Here is a NEW 5-minute sample of clips that were recently edited for one of my grant proposal submissions:

Jan Mendoza Interviewed

Jan Mendoza of CA DMVJan Mendoza with California DMV headquarters in Sacramento was interviewed for the documentary on Monday and discussed the sections of the Motor Vehicle Code relating to equestrians. It’s interesting that she’s a horse person and had lots of personal experience with sharing the road. And she’s a champion trick rider, one of 3 trick rider instructors in the state. You can see videos of her here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1A42F0092306A2A8
