I met with The Mules at the Adobe trailhead in the Los Padres National Forest and presented John (‘Mule’) with a SPOT GPS Tracker, which would allow me to find him more easily, let the Facebook fans follow the journey, and help in emergencies. Mule declined my offer–at least on that day.
