I hiked in and met The Mules at the top of Big Falls Trail in the Santa Lucia Wilderness. They had been in the backcountry for eleven days. John (‘Mule’) had begun carrying my SPOT GPS device, and I started the “Mule Tracker” feature on his 3Mules.com website and Facebook page.
